Training on Climate-Smart Agricultural and Agroforestry Nature-Based Solutions (NBS)

A training session was conducted on Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) in the agricultural and agroforestry sectors, aimed at enhancing the skills of Indigenous women and adolescent girls. This activity, supported by Global Affairs Canada (GAC) in partnership with the Paul Gérin-Lajoie Foundation (PGLF), also involved the distribution of tool kits (machetes, hoes, shovels, boots) to 320 beneficiaries from producer organizations (POs).

The participants have begun preparing their fields for climate-smart agriculture, allowing them to apply the knowledge gained.
